Remarks regarding data protection

II. Collecting, storing and utilising personal data

In the course of registration and order placement, we may also collect personal data under certain conditions on our website. This information will be stored in order to process the contract at hand. This applies particularly to data in connection with the acceptance and fulfilment of orders (for instance, name, address, email address, information about services ordered, data concerning order and payment behaviour) plus other data that may be made available to us on a voluntary basis (for instance, field of activity in a company, association memberships, etc.).

We only collect, process and utilise personal data within the meaning of the legal provisions of the German federal law for data protection and tele-media act. Personal data will only be utilised for processing a customer’s contract and for our own marketing purposes.

Right of revocation:

If you have agreed, in the course of placing an order online, to ad-media sending you a newsletter by email, you may revoke the utilisation of your data for advertising purposes at any time. We will only send you advertising by email for similar goods / services to the goods / services that have been purchased. On request, we will give you, free of charge, information about the data stored concerning your person. Outside of that which is permitted by law and subject to your consent, we will only collect and utilise anonymised data bearing no reference to persons, for statistical purposes and for continually improving our internet service.

III. Forwarding your data to third parties

Outside of that which is permitted by law, ad-media will not sell personal data to third parties or transmit data for other purposes to third parties with the exception of the data forwarding necessary to our distribution companies and other service providers that we may employ for processing your contracts. These mandated companies will, however, only utilise your personal data for processing your contract.

Data will be forwarded solely for marketing purposes to outside parties where this is legally permitted (generally publicised data and data summarised in lists according to § 28 Section 3 No. 3 f.f. and § 47 No. 2 f.f. German federal data protection act and according to § 28 Sec-tion 3 p. 2 und p. 4 f.f. German federal data protection act).

IV. Utilisation of cookies

Cookies are small data packages that are stored in the user’s computer when he visits an internet website. They can neither transmit viruses nor read hard disc data. We reserve the right to utilise so-called session cookies that are, however, immediately deleted when the browser is shut down. V. Google Analytics
